Bob is a wealth manager for Creative Planning, Inc. Bob serves
as a wealth manager, working directly with clients to develop
and coordinate the financial, investment, tax & estate aspects
of their plan.
Prior to joining Creative, Bob spent 3 years in auditing and tax
at KPMG in Kansas City, 2 years as a financial consultant at
Merrill Lynch in Kansas City, 8 years as the director of
taxation and financial planning at Professional Management
Midwest in Overland Park and 10 years with his own firm, Robert
J. McCarthy, CPA, CFP in Leawood, KS.
Bob earned a bachelors degree in accounting from Rockhurst
University in 1984. Bob is a licensed Certified Public
Accountant in the state of Kansas. He also is a licensed
Certified Financial Planner.
Bob is a volunteer with the Community Blood Center of Kansas
City and Harvesters Food Bank of Kansas City. Bob is married to
Jennifer and has two daughters, Megan and Hannah and two sons,
Jack and Joey. In his spare time, Bob enjoys ping-pong, tennis,
working out and spending time with his family and friends. |
