Tim serves as a Wealth Manager at Creative Planning. Utilizing a
disciplined approach, Tim works with clients to develop a
cohesive strategy to meet the most complex goals and needs. This
comprehensive approach covers wealth management issues in the
areas of tax, estate planning, investment management, business
succession planning, corporate stock option planning, insurance,
retirement planning, and charitable planning. Tim will work with
you personally to understand your needs and provide you a
customized game plan to achieve your goals.
Tim began his career in the investment industry in 1999. Prior
to joining Creative Planning Tim was a Vice President, Financial
Consultant at Charles Schwab, managing a practice of over $650
million in assets for 400 families in over 10 states. While at
Charles Schwab, Tim was recognized with the prestigious
distinction of Chairman's Club winner five different years. This
award recognized the top 10% of Financial Consultants in the
company. In 2007, Tim also received the Platinum Club award that
recognizes the top five individual Financial Consultants in the
company. Throughout his career, Tim has gained extensive
experience in comprehensive wealth management for high net worth
clients. Tim was a national leader for Charles Schwab, and he
was involved in training and leading other Financial Consultants
in the areas of wealth management.
Tim graduated from Baylor University in 1999 with a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree in Finance. Tim has earned the
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ designation, Certified Wealth
Strategist designation, Accredited Asset Management Specialist
designation, and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation.
Tim also holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 66 securities
licenses.
Tim lives with his wife, Jackie, and their three children Jake,
Haley, and Ethan. Tim and Jackie are actively involved in their
church, where they serve in various ministries. Tim has served
in financial leadership positions for his church and has taught
the Dave Ramsey, Financial Peace University class.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family,
coaching soccer and basketball, reading, traveling, running,
swimming, and biking.
